Dr. Ava Kent was born and raised in Orange County, California, where her passion for animals blossomed through the local 4-H program and horseback riding at the OC fairgrounds.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she also competed as a Division 1 athlete in cross country and track.

Dr. Kent obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, completing her clinical year at the University of California, Davis, and graduating with highest honors.
